NAME
isinff4
- verify if float elements are infinite
SYNOPSIS
Procedure
call syntax:
#include <simdmath.h> |
vector unsigned int isinff4(vector float x); |
Link with -lsimdmath |
Inline call syntax:
#include <simdmath.h> |
#include <isinff4.h> |
vector unsigned int _isinff4(vector float x); |
Parameters |
|
x |
input vector |
DESCRIPTION
The isinff4 function
returns a vector in which each element indicates if the corresponding element
of x is an infinity (positive or negative).
RETURN VALUE
On the SPU
single-precision Inf values are not representable. Therefore the function isinff4 returns 0 for
all input.
On the PPU the function
isinff4 returns an unsigned
int vector in which each element is defined as:
UINT_MAX |
if the element of x is
either positive or negative infinity. |
0 |
otherwise. |
CONFORMING TO
SIMD Math
library specification for the Cell Broadband Engineā¢ Architecture.
